SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES

THE PATH TO LIVING FREE 2022 HIKING SERIES

JUNE 2022-AUGUST 2022

ASCEND FREEDOM FITNESS MINISTRIES hiking series is designed to take you outdoors to encounter God in HIS creation! Each hike is designed to leads you into the wilderness of your heart, soul, mind, and encourages learning and growing in your relationship with Jesus. With the guidance of our amazing adventure leadership team and our HIKE study guide sheets (given to you prior to the hike), we will support and guide you through each hike. HIKE is an acronym we use to move into our intentions on our hikes. Each hike will have a study guide sheet with the following:

  • H: Hear: We will be focusing each hike on a particular passage of scripture that you will be encouraged to read ahead of time.

  • I: Inspire: Along with the word given, somewhere on the trail you will hear an inspiring story or connection pieces in reference to the scripture.

  • K: Kneel: NO hike would be that great unless we are able to stop and kneel and pray over what God is showing you though the intention, in creation and with the experience.

  • E: Execute: Once you have had time to reflect, pray and contemplate what the Lord is revealing to you through your hike you will have a pretty cool way of executing all this in some activity or action step!

All of this will be lead by your amazing trail lead!

We encourage you to join us this summer for an ADVENTURE like you never knew you could have! Our prayer is that God will take you deeper into relationship with him, grow your love for the outdoors, and build a loving and supportive community around you!
