WHY ASCEND NON-PROFIT MINISTRY?

MISSION: Ascend Freedom Fitness mission is to introduce people to the freedom available to them in Jesus Christ using multidimensional approach to wellness through programs that incorporate physical fitness, mental health interventions, and spiritual growth.

VISION: Our vision is to reclaim fitness, wellness and mental health in our community to God's original design and purpose.

We understand the challenges millions of people across the nation struggle with; depression, anxiety, physical ailments, obesity, addiction, destructive habit patterns, low self image and worth, eating disorders, negative thinking patterns, struggles with communication and relationships, and more. All of these factors can be very “weighty” burdens that are difficult (if not impossible) to carry. We try harder, do better, give up, and feel like more of a failure just to repeat the same pattern next time hoping for a different result. Neuroscience and the word of God has taught us that we when one area of our body, mind, or spirit are suffering all areas suffer. We address all of these components in our programs and classes creating a shame free, fun loving, and encouraging environment to grow, heal, and transform body, mind, and spirit!

We believe it is our God given design to be perfectly and wonderfully made. We are untapped potential waiting to come to life. It is the things mentioned above that weigh us down, physically with real weight gain/addictions/ailments, emotionally with mental and relational blockages, and spiritually as we feeling like dried up bones wandering in the wasteland looking for hope of a brighter tomorrow. God desperately desires to bring us back to life, to live in freedom. At Ascend, we believe we were created for so much more by a God who loves us beyond measure! He created a way through Jesus to have FREEDOM and life to the full! Regardless of your shape, size, or ability this is the place for you. This is not your “everyday gym”, this is true freedom and transformation!
